Questions

Sixteen straight answers

Grouped by what people usually worry about: the money, the work on site, and the paperwork afterwards. If yours is not here, ask it on the phone and we will add it.

Rates and payment

Rates and payment

How do you decide the rate?

Rate follows grade, condition and quantity. We tell you which grade we are paying for and what we are deducting for attachments, oil or moisture. If anything moves the rate between the quote and the lift, you hear it before loading rather than after weighing.

Why are your rates not published on the site?

A number printed today would be wrong tomorrow, and it would be wrong for your particular material anyway. Send photos or call +91 93185 70742 and we will come back with a rate for what you actually have.

When do I get paid?

We pay on the terms agreed in writing before we load, so the amount and the timing are settled before any material moves. Ask for those terms at the quote stage and read them while they can still be changed, rather than after the vehicle has left your gate.

Will I be paid the lowest grade for a mixed load?

No. Mixed lots are separated at the yard, or at your site if you would rather watch it happen, and paid grade by grade. You get a breakup showing the weight recorded against each grade.

Can the load be weighed at a weighbridge I choose?

Yes. Name the bridge and we will route the vehicle through it. You keep the printed slip, tare and gross, with the vehicle number on it.

Is there a minimum quantity?

We do not publish a minimum. Tell us the material, the rough weight and where it is standing, and we will come back on whether it is worth sending a vehicle or simpler for you to bring it in yourself. Anything brought to the yard is weighed on a public weighbridge, not on our own scale. Call before you set out so the trip is not wasted.

Collection and site work

Collection and site work

Who does the cutting and loading?

We do. Cutting sets, tools, slings and labour come with the job, so you do not need to arrange them or pull your own people off the line. Heavy pieces are cut down to a handleable size on site. How the material then travels is agreed at the quote, once the weight and the heaviest single piece are known.

How quickly can you come out?

Call with the material, the quantity and the location, and we will come back on when a crew can be at your gate. Dadri and the areas around it are closest to the yard. Large dismantling jobs need a site visit first so the crew, the equipment and the movement of the material can be planned properly.

Will the site be left clean?

Yes. Sweeping up and removing debris is part of the job, not a line item. If we drop it, we pick it up before we leave.

Can you work inside a running plant?

Yes, on your permit system. Tell us what the site requires from a contractor, whether that is permits, a written method of work, a point of contact on the crew or protective equipment, and we will either work to it or say we cannot. Shift windows, including nights and shutdowns, are arranged around what the plant allows.

What do you not buy?

Radioactive material, medical and biohazard waste, sealed or pressurised gas cylinders, ammunition, and anything the yard is not equipped to take safely. If a lot contains any of that, tell us early so it can be kept out of the load and dealt with separately.

Paperwork, compliance and coverage

What documents do I get?

A weighbridge slip per vehicle, a GST invoice under 09ANCPM1270H1Z4, an e-way bill wherever the value requires one, and a grade-wise weight breakup. E-waste and battery lots are itemised on the same paperwork, so what leaves your floor is written down in one place.

What happens to e-waste and batteries after you collect them?

Servers, desktops, laptops, UPS units, cabling, panel scrap and lead-acid batteries are taken as one lot, including the items most buyers leave behind. Batteries are carried upright and kept away from loose metal so nothing shorts or leaks in transit. What comes off your floor is written down against the lot, and we send the material on for processing rather than breaking it up for parts.

Can you destroy the data on old IT equipment?

No. We do not wipe drives and we do not issue destruction records, so anything holding data should come out of the machine before the lot is collected. Pull the drives and keep them, or have them destroyed by someone who does that work, and we will take the rest of the unit as scrap. Tell us at the booking if drives are being removed, because it changes how the units are packed.

Which areas do you cover?

We work across Dadri and the Greater Noida industrial belt, and for a full load we travel further. The yard is on Kathera Road in Dadri, so the closer you are to that side of Gautam Buddh Nagar, the shorter the trip. If you are not sure whether your location is in range, call and ask instead of assuming it is a no.

Do you sell material as well as buy it?

Yes. Structural steel, pipe, sheet, fasteners, site consumables and reconditioned machinery. Send the list with sizes and quantities and we will come back with availability and a price.

Anything not covered here is easier to settle on the phone than in writing. We would rather answer it before you book a vehicle than after.
