Hind Trading Co buys scrap across Dadri and the Greater Noida industrial belt, out of its own yard on Kathera Road. The person who quotes your load is the person who sends the crew, and usually the person who answers when you ring back.
How we work
Four things we do not negotiate on
Most complaints in this trade come down to the same four arguments. Here is where we stand on each of them before you ask.
The rate you were quoted is the rate you are paid
A quote holds unless the material turns out to be something other than what was described, or the metal market moves before the lift. Either way you hear about it before loading starts, not after the weighbridge slip is printed.
Mixed loads are separated, not averaged
Averaging a mixed lot down to its cheapest grade is the oldest deduction in the trade. We sort, weigh and pay grade by grade, and you get the breakup on paper. If you want to watch the sorting, come to the yard and watch it.
Loads are weighed on a public weighbridge, not on our own scale
Nothing is weighed behind a closed gate. Tare and gross taken on a public bridge, vehicle number on the slip, and a copy of the slip goes to you. If you would rather use a weighbridge you already trust, name it and we will use that one.
We say no early
There are materials this yard does not take, and you will hear that on the first call rather than after a vehicle has been sent. We do not publish a minimum, so describe the lot and we will tell you plainly whether it is one for us. A wasted trip costs you a morning and costs us a crew, and neither of us needs it.

Who we work with
The people who call us
Factories and production units
Turnings, offcuts, rejects and packaging arriving every week. Can be set up as a fortnightly or monthly collection with a fixed lifting day.
Fabrication and engineering workshops
Drops, end pieces, weld test coupons and grinding swarf. Sorted by grade at our end so a stainless job is not paid at a mild steel rate.
Construction and infrastructure sites
Rebar offcuts, shuttering plate, staging, site steel and demolition metal, cleared before handover so the snag list does not include a scrap pile.
Warehouses, logistics and packaging units
Cartons, pallets, strapping, drums, damaged racking and returns. Lifted on an agreed schedule so the loading bay stays a loading bay.
Offices, IT companies and institutions
End-of-life computers, furniture, UPS banks and record archives. Taken away as one lot, with what is collected written down as it is loaded.
Traders, dealers and auction winners
Bulk lots bought outright, or lifted and cleared on your behalf when you have won a lot and the window is tighter than your crew.
